Today we are joined by my beloved friend Fiona Arrigo - mentor, healer, biodynamic psychotherapist. Fiona and I met in 2010 when we were both asked to join in the creation of a multidisciplinary women’s only clinic.
We have been firm friends ever since: both pioneering Aquarians who understand the energy of non competitive co-creation - DUH !
We have both held a precious, sacred space for women to create, become, heal or simply just collapse. I’ve collapsed in her generous arms and felt her endless love hold me on a few occasions, and we have played and created together many times.
I’m so grateful for her presence in this space; on many occasions I’ve called her and said “what’s going on Fiona, this energy is nothing I’ve felt before”.
Thank you dear Fiona and thank you all for joining us after A Spoonful of Medicine’s little break x
Acceptance can be defined as the ability to accept things as they are as opposed to how we expected them to be. Judgements, expectations and opinions can all get in the way of this. Notice where in the body you feel this when things aren’t met with acceptance.
Fiona’s 40 years of combining Western psychology with Eastern mysticism has informed her perspective to both personal and collective healing. Qualified as a Biodynamic Psychotherapist, she co-founded one of the first holistic detox programmes in the UK, Stop the World in the early 1990’s. In 2010, Fiona evolved this into her highly acclaimed signature 1-2-1 bespoke retreat, The Arrigo Programme.
Fiona is also the co-founder of thecentersomerset.com, offering bursary and scholarship places, on our three retreats in August: yoga for woman with Bex Tyrer, a teen programme and a programme for single parents.
